Nice assortment of playing cards. It included 2 gilded decks and 4 regular decks. I enjoy collecting and giving away decks to friends, so it was good way to stock up.

Hi David. Thanks for your review! Yes, Viper Finish is indeed very slick and thin. If you wanted something from us with a more classic feel, we'd recommend Golden Eagle, Triton 42, Albatross No. 5 Standard or our Cryptids decks - all printed on slightly thicker and more conventional stock. Cheers!

Love all A Haines cards. So classic, clean, and vintage. Working on engire collection.
Picked up the enamel suit‑of‑cards pins and they’re genuinely lovely. Great shine, solid feel, and the detailing is spot‑on Proper weight to them, clean lines, and none of that cheap bendy feel you sometimes get. I don’t play poker or anything fancy, but the designs are iconic enough that they just work. Stuck one on my jacket and instantly felt 35% cooler

Absolutely LOVE these decks of cards. As a magician, we look for durability and workability. The viper finish on these are a dream and not to mention the "secret" system involved. If you're a magician that prioritises quality, these are it. You should never work without your best tools, and these are definitely it! Thanks Alex keep them coming!
I really like these cards. They have a nice, substantial feel, shuffle and deal easily. They come in a nice box—which is rare these days. Luv the court cards. Luv the proportions.
My only gripe, I wish the purple backs were a little deeper color. Not a real complaint as I would buy them again. All around— very nice! My compliments to A. Haines. A great set.
Thank you for your review :) there is actually a story behind the pale shade of purple... you will notice that the green backs are much darker, and the purple much lighter. The goal was to create two back colours that could be differentiated just from their tone by people with colour blindness and colour deficiency in their eyes. This was brought up by the poker players we developed the cards with. I hope this explains the colour choice and thanks again for your review - glad you like our poker set :)
I’m a big fan (card fan) of what Alex is doing, beautiful cards and a great service. I think I have all his decks now, through kickstarter and patron, looking forward to what the future holds, I highly recommend signing up for all his projects. The design of each card looks even better in person. The cards feel great just like actual paper cards and hold their shape so well. The packaging, and service was also great. I’m glad I found this brand! I was so happy I immediately made a second purchase of these exact cards.
These cards came carefully packed in multiple layers of bubble wrap. Once opened it was clear that there was just as much, if not more love and care that went into the creation of these cards. They feel just like actual paper, but holds their shape extremely well even after countless shuffles. The designs of every court cards are beautiful and unique, not to mention the smooth vibrant colors on both the face and back of the cards. I’m very pleased with these cards!
