In true A. Haines style, the Cryptids tin is designed to look and feel like a genuine antique, a sturdy metal tin with removable lid, half-tone period-accurate printing and laser-cut foam inserts that hold both decks securely and perfectly. Manufactured in the UK, this is not a flimsy novelty tin - it is a serious collector's storage piece worthy of display alongside the finest items in any collection. The foam inserts are precision cut to house exactly two decks of playing cards - snug, protected and beautifully presented every time the lid comes off.

Black Shuck - the spectral hound of the East Anglian borderlands. A premium hand-drawn vintage deck in bold black and red with woodblock print style artwork on soft matte card stock. Features a custom Ace of Spades depicting Shuck's infamous appearance at St. Mary's Church, Bungay, during the storm of 1577, and a Joker diptych revealing the beast himself in full woodblock glory.

Mothman - the winged terror of Point Pleasant, West Virginia. A premium hand-drawn vintage deck in deep red and black - inverted colours that perfectly complement the Shuck deck. Features a custom Ace of Spades with Mothman's unmistakable glowing red eyes, and a Joker diptych of the creature in full flight.

Both decks share a cohesive visual identity - matching intricate hand-drawn back patterns in complementary colourways, identical unique court cards derived from ancient British one-way playing card faces redrawn into perfectly symmetrical two-way designs, chunky antique pips, refined indices and aged paper tones throughout. Hearts and diamonds feature a two-tone 50/50 pip - a nod to famous decks of a bygone era. Each deck retains its own distinct mythology, Ace of Spades and Joker diptych while together forming a perfectly coherent matched set.

Everything in both decks is drawn entirely by hand on a Wacom pen and tablet - as close as possible to traditional illustration while embracing modern print technology. No AI. No stock artwork.
