Following countless requests from collectors who missed the original run, we are delighted to announce a very limited restock of one of the most popular and sought-after projects in the A. Haines catalogue - the award-nominated Osprey & Goshawk Vintage Playing Cards, available once again as a matched two deck set.

This restock is small. We cannot guarantee how long it will last - and this is the last of the original print run. Once they are gone - they are gone!

Osprey No. 2 and Goshawk No. 3 are a natural pair - two premium hand-drawn vintage playing card decks united by a shared aesthetic and complementary colourways, each with its own distinct identity and character.

Osprey No. 2 arrives in a classic blue colourway - a deep, rich blue on the card backs featuring a hand-drawn osprey motif woven into the traditional four-way pattern. The tuckbox is matte-finished, printed inside and out, and features osprey-themed artwork and a custom stamp sticker seal. The Ace of Spades is unique to this deck - hand-drawn and inspired by classic antique decks of years gone by, 

Goshawk No. 3 answers in a bold red - the same intricate back pattern as the Osprey deck but rendered in deep red with a hand-drawn goshawk motif at its heart. Matte tuck printed inside and out with its own distinct goshawk-themed artwork, custom stamp sticker seal and a unique hand-drawn Ace of Spades.

Together they form one of the most cohesive and visually satisfying matched sets in the A. Haines range - identical in construction and quality, complementary in colour and theme, and deeply satisfying to own as a pair.

Both decks share the same beautifully crafted vintage illustration throughout - classic court cards, antique-inspired pips and indices, and the hand-drawn back pattern that collectors of our work recognise immediately. Even by our standards, Osprey & Goshawk is a particularly classic and timeless offering - closer to the traditional playing card aesthetic than almost anything else we produce, and all the more elegant for it.

Printed on Legends pre-crushed Classic Finish stock - widely regarded as among the finest playing card stock in the world - both decks handle beautifully straight out of the box and will continue to do so through countless hours of play and handling.

Osprey & Goshawk was one of our earliest and most celebrated projects: award-nominated, beloved by collectors and magicians alike, and out of stock for long enough that the enquiries never quite stopped coming in. We heard you. This restock is for everyone who asked.
